Question 1: What are the advantages and disadvantages of a WYSWIG editor?
Answer: Well a WYSWIG editor is very easy to use to people who are new to this. Most sites nowadays are WYSWIG in order for a wide range of users to use it. Another advantage it bring is that it is very easy to edit mistakes or things you don’t find pleasing. Since you could already see what it looks like before hand, you save a lot of time instead of going back and forth with your code, figuring out which works out the best. A disadvantage of a WYSWIG editor is the limited options it gives to the user. Like me, I have a background on HTML and CSS, with that knowledge, though it may take more time, I could better personalize this site or make it more aesthetically pleasing.

 

Question 2: What is the difference between your WordPress blog and Jimdo website?

Answer: Well this WordPress blog is a little bit more personal. You could decide everything for yourself and you see through the cracks and nooks of your site. You have to choose and edit everything yourself. In Jimdo its almost so effortless that you actually feel like you didn’t do anything at all. The site design is made for you, only deciding on what the content is.
